New Events Arrive Alongside Steam Release Prep
Isekai Waifu Overlord is preparing a busy stretch of new content, with the arrival of the In the Heart of the Underworld event, the return of the Golden Scale Festival and a substantial round of improvements ahead of the game's Steam release.
Uzuru takes the spotlight in a new event
In the Heart of the Underworld launches on September 24 and brings Uzuru into the story. She is the mythic ruler of the Dark Elves, and the event introduces a storyline connected to the Lower Cities.
The story begins when a mysterious woman requests an audience and presents herself as a representative of the Lower Cities, proposing a cooperation that could benefit both sides. From there, players will have the chance to discover more about Uzuru and the secrets surrounding her.
The Golden Scale Festival returns
The week also brings back the Golden Scale Festival. The returning event opens again on Friday, with Miyuki waiting for players as the celebration begins once more.
Steam preparations bring interface improvements
Alongside the event content, several parts of the game are being refined as work continues toward the upcoming Steam release.
The Gallery has received a complete interface redesign, while Eternity Shards now display a counter directly on the shop button. Their reset behavior has also been explained more clearly through updated localization.
The Battle Pass explanation window and Blacksmith automation interface have both been revised. Event battles also gain an additional option after completion, allowing players to purchase missing resources or a Premium Battle Pass when needed.
Progression, combat and event fixes
The update also addresses a range of issues affecting everyday gameplay. Time Boosters can once again be used correctly, and the problem causing unusually high Hammer rewards when entering the game has been fixed.
Battle Pass activation and the purchase of additional levels have been corrected, while fixes have also been applied to certain class bonuses and character skills during combat.
Event-related problems are included in the update as well, covering cases where mini-games could begin incorrectly and situations where the quest for obtaining an event character failed to complete.
With Uzuru's new event, the return of the Golden Scale Festival and another round of improvements ahead of Steam, there is plenty changing in Isekai Waifu Overlord. Jump into the game and check out the latest content and fixes.
