How do battles work?

You choose which units to send onto the battle lane, then they fight on their own. Infantry beats artillery, artillery beats tanks, and tanks beat infantry, while each of the four factions deals extra damage to another one. Reading the enemy line and answering it with the right unit type is what turns a close fight into a clean win.
What do commanders do in battle?

Commanders boost the troops of their specialty, whether infantry, tanks, or artillery. Their energy charges as your units fight, and once it's full you can fire their Order, such as an air strike, a mortar barrage, a heal for your troops, or a radio jam that blocks enemy abilities. Switch on Auto mode and Orders are cast for you.
How do I recruit new units and commanders?

You recruit them with Gold, Secret Files, and Tags earned through missions, quests, and events. Each recruit comes with a rarity tier, and duplicates can be used in the Academy to promote your favorites to higher tiers with stronger stats and a higher level cap.
How do dates with the commanders work?

Dates are unlocked with Hearts, which you earn by winning campaign missions. Each date is an illustrated scene with reply choices that set the tone of the conversation. Seasonal events add special dates paid with event Hearts, and the Memories gallery lets you revisit the scenes you've unlocked.

Yes, the campaign is split into chapters about the officers being kidnapped from your base. As you liberate the world map, you uncover who is behind the abductions and why. Holiday events like Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Lunar New Year add their own stories along the way.

Yes. The Ladder Arena lets you attack other players' defense squads to climb the leagues each season, and Single Tournaments pit you against nine opponents over five rounds. You can also join an Alliance and compete together in the Battle of the Alliances.
